- Mini-length shorts cut with a relaxed, voluminous silhouette that skims the thigh without clinging - the soft drape is immediately noticeable.
- Elasticated waist sits comfortably at the natural waist, gathering the fabric into gentle pleats that add volume through the hip.
- All-over gingham check print gives the shorts a graphic, two-tone character that makes them easy to build an outfit around.
- Cotton blend fabric that feels breathable and soft against the skin - the kind you'll reach for on repeat through warmer days and late evenings.
- Machine washable - built for real life, not just the occasion.
The gathered waist and full, short hem create a shape that moves freely and sits away from the body - there's an ease to these shorts that makes them feel effortless rather than thrown together. The check print does a lot of the work here, so simple separates are the way to go on top. The model pairs them with an oversized roll-neck knit, which balances the volume of the shorts beautifully and keeps the whole look cohesive for transitional weather. Come summer, swap the knit for a fitted vest or a cropped long-sleeve tee and finish with flat sandals or white trainers. These are the kind of shorts that work just as well on a casual day out with friends as they do pottering around at a weekend barbecue or a relaxed family gathering. Keep the accessories minimal - small hoop earrings and a crossbody bag are all you need.
